Children Rise Adult Support Initiative (CRASI) is a Nigerian nonprofit organisation committed to empowering children, young people, women and communities through education, leadership development, climate-smart agriculture and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
We believe that sustainable development begins by equipping people with knowledge, skills and opportunities. Through partnerships with schools, communities and technical organisations, we create practical programmes that connect learning with real-world solutions.We don’t only respond to needs – we work to build systems that create lasting opportunities.

Education & Learning
We support children with access to learning opportunities and essential educational resources, helping reduce barriers that can prevent children from participating fully in education
Through character and leadership programmes such as the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, we help children develop responsibility, confidence, teamwork, goal-setting and positive habits.
We introduce children, teachers and communities to practical climate-smart agriculture through aquaponics, sustainable aquaculture and innovative food-production systems.
Our programmes are interconnected. We believe that when children have access to education, develop positive character, and gain practical knowledge about their environment, they are better prepared to create opportunities for themselves and contribute to stronger communities.

Growing Young Minds Through Aquaponics
Glorious Heritage Model Academy, Mpape, Abuja
CRASI installed a school-based aquaponic system at Glorious Heritage Model Academy, Mpape, providing pupils with a practical environment to learn about vegetable cultivation and sustainable food production.
The project transforms part of the school environment into a living classroom where pupils can observe, participate in and understand climate-smart agriculture in a practical way.
Through hands-on learning, pupils are introduced to ideas such as water conservation, environmental responsibility, teamwork and sustainable food production.
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, develop confidence and discover their potential.
CRASI supports children in underserved communities through educational resources, character development and leadership learning.
Through school outreach programmes, we provide essential learning materials and introduce children to practical lessons that encourage responsibility, positive habits, teamwork and personal growth.

Turning Schools Into Centres of Learning, Production and Opportunity
CRASI is developing a sustainable school model that connects education with practical climate-smart agriculture.
